Custom software

One system that does the thing your business runs on

Not a platform. Not a license with a feature list you use a tenth of. A focused application built around a specific operational problem, delivered as code you own.
Most of this work starts as a description of a process, not a specification.

01Where it starts

The shapes this work usually takes

If one of these sounds like your week, the conversation is already most of the way there.
  1. 01

The spreadsheet that runs the company

One workbook everyone edits, with no history, no permissions and one person who understands the formulas. It becomes an application with roles, an audit trail and reports that do not need rebuilding each month.

  2. 02

    The supplier or subcontractor portal

Vendors emailing documents that someone re-keys. It becomes a portal where they submit, you review, and both sides can see status without asking.

  3. 03

The report nobody has time to produce

Data spread across systems, assembled by hand for a monthly meeting. It becomes a dashboard that assembles itself and is right at the moment somebody opens it.

  4. 04

The legacy application nobody will touch

Software that still works but cannot be changed, hosted somewhere nobody wants to discuss. It gets modernized in place or replaced deliberately, with the data carried across.

  5. 05

    The document pile

Contracts, submittals and technical libraries read by people because nothing else can. Extraction, search and review tooling handles the first pass and routes the exceptions to a person.

02How we build

Four commitments

  • You own the code

The repository is yours from the first commit. No proprietary runtime, no license to keep paying, no dependency on us continuing to exist.

  • Built to be handed over

Readable code, documented decisions and a deployment another developer can run. We assume someone else maintains it eventually.

  • Scoped to the problem

We build the thing that solves the problem and stop. A narrow application that ships beats a platform that keeps expanding.

  • Boring where it counts

Well-understood technology for the parts that must keep working, and judgement about where novelty actually earns its risk.

03Capability

What we build

Services

  • Custom software development
  • Web applications and internal tools
  • Enterprise application modernization
  • APIs and backend systems
  • Dashboards and data visualization
  • Supplier and vendor portals
  • Workflow systems
  • Mobile applications where the use case warrants one

What changes

  • 01Retire the spreadsheetOperational data moves out of shared workbooks into a system with real permissions, history and reporting.
  • 02Connect what is disconnectedContract, personnel, supplier and financial data stop living in four systems that do not speak to each other.
  • 03Fit rather than featuresThe system does the specific thing your business runs on, instead of a general product you configure around and then work around anyway.

04Built, not just advised

We run our own production software

The people who would build your system also build and operate software of our own. Production applications with real users. Document processing. Organizational knowledge systems, procurement workflows, dashboards, geospatial interfaces, and the cloud deployments underneath them.

That is the difference between advising on delivery and having done it. It is also why we are direct about what a piece of work will actually take, and why an estimate arrives with its assumptions attached rather than as a single number.

Their founder's ability to deliver tailored solutions, provide insight at a high level, and operate with integrity makes them an invaluable partner for teams serious about results.

Jack is an impressive emerging engineer whose mindset and work ethic align closely with the mission-driven culture we value at CS3 EGS. He brings a level of technical curiosity, discipline, and initiative that stands out among early-career professionals entering the aerospace and defense ecosystem. Jack approaches engineering challenges the way our industry demands—methodically, analytically, and with a clear understanding that real-world solutions must be both innovative and operationally practical.

Describe the process, not the software.

Tell us what happens today, who does it and where it breaks. The specification comes out of that conversation.
